Undergraduate vs. graduate advising.

Undergraduate advising typically occurs in several contexts across campus to help students connect with experts on various aspects of their degree. Due to the focused nature of graduate and professional degree programs, graduate advising is typically facilitated directly by students’ programs in the school/college to which they were admitted.

To learn more about advising and mentoring at the graduate level, visit this Rackham Graduate School page. To locate a graduate advisor in a specific school or college, use the Find An Advisor tool.
